Standardizing experimental protocols
Experimental protocols in cognitive sciences are commonly described as text in research papers. Studyflow extends BPMN to formally describe experimental procedures (i.e., the flow of participants across activities within a study) as machine-readable, human-understandable diagrams. This ensures completeness and consistency, and supports the development of new automation (e.g., softwares for visualizing studies or analyzing data).
